Terms of Use

Last updated: 4 October 2026 · Applies to FullShot 1.0.0 and later

In short: FullShot is free, open-source software provided as-is. Use it, change it, share it. You are responsible for what you capture and how you use the images.

1. Acceptance

By installing or using FullShot (the "Software") or this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

2. License

The Software is released under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense and sell it under that license's conditions. In any conflict between these terms and the MIT License regarding the source code, the MIT License prevails. The name "FullShot" and its logo identify the original project. If you publish a modified version, please make clear that it is a fork.

3. What the Software does

FullShot captures screenshots of the web page you choose, by scrolling the page and stitching what the browser shows. While capturing, it temporarily scrolls the page, hides fixed headers and hides scrollbars, then restores the page. Pages with unusual layouts, animations, videos, sticky elements or content that loads while scrolling may not be reproduced perfectly.

4. Your responsibility

5. No warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. The developer does not guarantee that it will be error-free, that captures will be complete or pixel-perfect, or that it will be compatible with every browser version or website. Browser changes may affect behavior.

6. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER AND CONTRIBUTORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR LOSS (INCLUDING LOST DATA OR LOST TIME) ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Donations

Support through Ko-fi is voluntary, is a gift, and unlocks nothing. The Software stays free and fully functional. Donations are processed by Ko-fi under its own terms and are generally non-refundable.

8. Third parties

FullShot is an independent project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, Microsoft, Mozilla, GitHub or Ko-fi. All trademarks and logos belong to their owners. The Ko-fi logo used for the support link comes from the Simple Icons project.

9. Privacy

How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy. In short: no tracking, and screenshots never leave your device.

10. Changes and termination

These terms may be updated. The current version is always here, with its date at the top, and the history is in the repository. Continued use after a change means you accept it. You can stop at any time by uninstalling the extension.
